RELEASE DAY!

Today marks a special Day in my career as a music producer. I can finally announce the release of my first instrumental Hip Hop Album called „JOURNEY TO ANANDA“ which you'll be able to stream on Soundcloud, Spotify, Bandcamp, Apple Music & iTunes from today on.

So here is the Story:

Ever since I started creating sample based Hip Hop Music 4,5 years ago, a passion of collecting Vinyl records just naturally came with it. Simply a beautiful gift given by Hip Hop culture. FOREVER GRATEFUL.

Also..

Since early age my parents were taking me on many trips around the world. Being a young blood I was already rocking communistic Cuba, Canada’s Rocky Mountains, the holy temples of Knossos / Creta, legendary „Samaria Schlucht“ or just visiting friends in Miami Beach / Florida. So traveling naturally occurred to be a passion of mine throughout my life. Thank you MOM & DAD. I LOVE YOU.

So one day I created the crazy idea to do a solo Backpacking trip around the world, which I finally executed at the age of 30. I stepped on a one way plane to Mumbai / India in 2018. In a period of 18 months I travelled to India, Nepal, Thailand, Sri-Lanka, Cairo - Egypt, Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia, Australia, Bali - Indonesia, Cambodia & finally to the eternal City of Buenos Aires / Argentina, before returning back to the place of Departure, Frankfurt am Main. Living the craziest time of my life, I was also visiting record stores in some of these places & was a student of „DIGGING AT IT’s SOURCE“, buying records in countries where they were actually issued. Back home I had this half broken suitcase with me, which contained a bunch of collected records from crazy places like antic stores in Fort Kochi or the Shah music center in New Delhi, Zudrangma Record Store in Bangkok, mystic cornerstores in Cairo, Red Eye Records in Sydney or Cactus Records in Buenos Aires. Simply beautiful. FOREVER BLESSED.

These Records were the foundation & concept of my today released album „JOURNEY TO ANANDA“. In The past 18 months I put all my heart & soul into sample based Hip Hop production & created a 17 Track (1 h 39 min) everlasting journey through the best parts of the collected Vinyl pieces from all over the world. I would describe it as a crazy ride through „SAMPLING WONDERLAND“, myself always aiming to connect the craziest music pieces from different countries together to create a fascinating instrumental Hip Hop journey through various music types from different continents. The BPM range goes from 90-124, which means it contains also faster musical tempos due to my current evolution into House music. HIP HOUSE.

Absolute Highlights of the Album are my transatlantic / intergalactic Instrument collaborations with Norwegian Saxophonist Bror Havnes (Flamer Dance Band) & Argentinian trumpet player Johnny Cross (Militantes Del Climax). I met these inspirational & absolute legendary Human Beings just through the craziest circumstances Traveling around the Globe, making this Album an even greater symbolic manifest to what Traveling can lead. Both of them being excellent live performers & producers, rocking stages since years, dedicated their time & energy to work together with me, somebody who’s still in the early stages of his career as a music producer. Words cannot describe how thankful I am for this collaboration with you guys. GOD BLESS YOU & YOUR FAMILIES.

Why „JOURNEY TO ANANDA“?

Because life is a journey not only traveling physically but also where ever we are in every moment, mentally. And I think it’s in all our interest to live this life in JOY & HAPPINESS or at least to aim to reach this state of being, which „ANANDA“ stands for coming from Sanskrit language.

To me, listening & creating Hip Hop & everything that comes with it, is accompanied with a higher state of consciousness I can get into, exactly what the title signifies, which I can only THANK GOD for.

With that being said, a gentle reminder to never stop traveling, digging and creating. SOUTH AMERICA, AFRICA.
